Reported by a popular Korean news publication “DigiTimes”, it seems that the iWatch is really being worked on behind those top-secret (not so secret anymore) labs at Apple! The wearable technology market is really looking to be on the verge of explosive growth, especially the smartwatch market. In terms of figures too, it seems that Apple could sell as many as 63.4 Million iWatches in 2014, if it manages to release them in the second half of 2014. Another analyst even claimed that Apple could have an opportunity to grab up as much as $80 Billion with their iWatch.
DigiTimes reports that Taiwan-based contract manufacturer ODM Inventec could land as much as 60 percent of iWatch orders.
The analyst expects Apple’s iWatch to be priced between US$149-229 and consumers will purchase the device mainly to replace their iPods.
Excited, well we are too!
